I decided to drive to Wilcox Landing pier on the James River in Charles City County late yesterday afternoon. I took my crystal lens ball with me to see if I could get some shots through it. As time went on, the sky became very dramatic and firey and the clouds (don't know their official type) were wispy and amazing! As you look at this photo, you are obviously look west towards Richmond, Virginia which is about 15 miles up the river. This is an historical area from the Civil War era. Information follows:
